Who we are
Lilaj is an interior design studio at 43 Pont Street, London SW1X 0BD. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 we are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@lilaj.uk or on +44 (0)20 3813 2738.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form on this site: your name, your email address, the kind of project, where it is, a budget range if you choose to give one, how you heard about us, and your message. Nothing else. There is no account to create and no newsletter to join.
Our web server keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, browser, time, page requested — for security and fault-finding. They are rotated by our hosting provider and are not used to build any profile of you.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry, and for nothing else. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box and send the form; and, once we are talking about actual work, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not sell, rent or share your details. We do not send marketing. There is no mailing list.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its logs, and our email provider, which carries the messages. Neither uses your data for their own purposes. We disclose nothing to anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Where we go on to work together, project correspondence is kept for six years after the work finishes, which is the period in which a claim could still be brought.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to our using it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@lilaj.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, but it is your right either way.
